AusBiotech

AusBiotech is dedicated to the development, growth and prosperity of the Australian biotechnology industry, by providing initiatives to drive sustainability and growth, outreach and access to markets, and representation and support for members nationally and around the world.

Australian College of Pharmacy

The Australian College of Pharmacy Practice and Management (ACPPM) was established July 1, 2004 with the amalgamation of the Australian College of Pharmacy Practice (ACPP) and the Australian Institute of Pharmacy Management (AIPM). In 2009, the College changed its name to the Australian College of Pharmacy. Both the ACPP and AIPM had a long and distinguished existence, with the organisations established in 1983 and 1978 respectively.

The new “College” combines the ideals and services of both former entities to members with the purpose to develop and promote excellence in the practice of clinical pharmacy and business management. The College is involved in the development and delivery of education, training and research programs to contribute to the advancement of practice and management within the pharmacy and pharmaceutical industries.

Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine

ACRRM is the peak professional organisation for Rural and Remote Medicine (RRM) education and training in Australia and leads the world in the development of this discipline.

Australian General Practice Network

AGPN represents a network of 111 local organisations (Divisions) as well as eight state-based entities. The Network is involved in a wide range of activities including health promotion, early intervention and prevention strategies, chronic disease management, medical education and workforce support.

Australian Medical Association

The Australian Medical Association represents the registered medical practitioners (doctors) and medical students of Australia. The AMA works with the membership to promote and protect the interests of patients.

Australian Self Medication Industry (ASMI)

ASMI (Australian Self Medication Industry) is the peak body representing companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of consumer healthcare products in Australia. Since its establishment in 1974, the Association has focussed its efforts on supporting the progress and development of the Self Care products industry, including both OTCs and complementary products.

GMiA

The Generic Medicines industry Association (GMiA) provides a unified voice representing the interests of the generic prescription medicines industry in Australia.

National Prescribing Service

An independent, non-profit organisation providing medicines information and resources for consumers, health professionals, members and stakeholders involved in Quality Use of Medicines.

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia was established in 1928, bringing together several small retail pharmacy organisations then operating in the various States. On this website you can access information on the Guild including frequently asked questions, research and development grant programs and access discussion forums.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia

PSA is the peak national professional pharmacy organisation representing some 80 per cent of pharmacists across Australia.   PSA has a dual function, supporting pharmacists’ commitment to high standards of patient care and continuing professional education, and representing their role as frontline health professionals.  PSA’s primary role is to provide initial and ongoing education, training and practice support tools for pharmacists and pharmacy staff.

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners is the professional organisation that focuses on the safety and quality of general practice.

The Royal Australasian College of Physicians

An organisation responsible for training, educating and representing over 9,000 physicians and paediatricians in Australia and New Zealand.
